Smiles-N-Sunshine Farm is the hobby farming enterprise of Bryan and Janet Smith of Palominas, Arizona. “Hobby farming” means we don’t rely on farming for our income – so we can place animal welfare first, and profitability second.
We raise New Zealand White rabbits, bantam Brahma chickens, and composting redworms on our 4 acre “spread”. Future projects will include organic gardening (lots to learn there!), additional poultry classes such as turkeys and guineafowl, and supporting youth education programs such as 4-H. Also, in an effort to utilize the whole animal, we’re looking for better uses for the inedible (by humans) by-products from chickens and rabbits.
Smiles-N-Sunshine Farm is an American Rabbit Breeders Association-registered rabbitry and a Bisbee Farmers Market vendor.
